Deputy Regent of Tangerang Intan Nurul Hikmah emphasized the need for employees within the Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) to strengthen a culture of discipline and responsiveness to improve public services and governance.

This was stated by Deputy Regent Intan during the Tangerang Regency-level National Awareness Roll Call at Raden Aria Yudhanegara Field, Tangerang Regency Government Center, Monday (11/17/25).

“This roll call is not just a routine activity, but a momentum to strengthen our work culture, both a culture of discipline and a culture of responsiveness in serving the public,” said Deputy Regent Intan.

According to her, strengthening a good work culture for every government official is the main foundation for improving the quality of public services and governance.

A culture of discipline must be the foundation of an official’s professionalism, especially time discipline, which reflects employee integrity.

“This strong work culture can provide the best service to the public.

Time discipline must become a work culture, because discipline is a form of respect for the duties and responsibilities carried out and respect for the people served,” he emphasized.

He emphasized the importance of a responsive culture, which requires government officials to be able to respond quickly to every public problem and complaint.

He also emphasized that the government must be present before problems develop and provide appropriate solutions to maintain the quality of public services.

“Responsive means being present before problems escalate and resolving complaints before they pile up.

Every public report through various complaint channels must be handled quickly, accurately, and transparently to maintain public trust,” he explained.

Regarding service aspects, Deputy Regent Intan reiterated her commitment to providing humane, informative service, and providing a sense of comfort and ease to those in need.

“Good public service is not only measured by speed, but also by the friendly, polite, and professional attitude displayed by officials.

The public comes seeking solutions, not new problems. Therefore, make quality service a habit, not just a slogan,” she urged.

“A culture of discipline, responsiveness, and good service must be the identity of Tangerang Regency’s civil servants.

These three work cultures are expected to strengthen the quality of government administration so that its benefits are truly felt by the community,” he said.

In addition to emphasizing these three work cultures, Deputy Regent Intan reminded regional officials to accelerate budget absorption towards the end of the year.

She emphasized that this acceleration must be carried out accountably and in accordance with all regulations to ensure development programs run on target without sacrificing quality.
