The Coalition of Anti-Injustice Communities came to the National Police Criminal Investigation

Jakarta, postbantennews.com

The Coalition of Anti-Injustice Communities came to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Thursday (25/2) to report suspected crowd violations by President Joko Widodo or Jokowi in Maumere, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)

Kurnia, as the representative of the Coalition for Anti Injustice Communities, said that his party had come and tried to report Jokowi. However, after long discussions with investigators, the report was not accepted.

“We are very disappointed with the police who do not want to publish a police report on our report against the alleged perpetrator of the Health Quarantine violation, namely the President,” said Kurnia in a statement to jpnn.com.

Regarding the rejection made by Bareskrim Polri, Kurnia also questioned law enforcement in Indonesia.

“We question the principle of equality before the law whether it still exists in this Republic,” added Kurnia.

Kurnia then highlighted Jokowi’s actions, which in no way set a good example for citizens. Supposedly, Jokowi can implement health protocols and avoid crowds.

“The crowd that occurred during the presidential visit in Maumere, NTT in the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic has clearly violated health protocols,” he added.

In addition, President Jokowi’s actions by throwing parcels from the top of the car resulted in the crowd actually showing a spirit of resistance to Covid-19. (Dandi / arfiz / henri / pn)
