French stocks ended in the green zone again on Tuesday (2/3/2021), posting gains for the second day in a row, with the benchmark CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange rising 0.29 percent, or 16. , 94 points, to settle at 5,809.73 points. 

The CAC 40 index rose 1.57 percent or 89.57 points to 5,792.79 points on Monday (1/3/2021), after slumping 1.39 percent or 80.67 points to 5,703.22 points on Friday (26/2 / 2021),

And lost 0.24 percent or 14.09 points to 5,783.89 points on Thursday (25/2/2021). Of the 40 stocks of selected large companies that are components of the CAC 40 index, 19 stocks recorded successful gains, is from antara

while 21 other stocks experienced losses. The multinational steel maker ArcelorMittal SA jumped 3.05 percent, becoming the biggest  gainer  of the  blue chips. Followed by shares of the French international banking and financial services group BNP,

Paribas which rose 2.68 percent, and French media conglomerate Vivendi SA added 2.34 percent. On the other hand, multinational electronics and semiconductor manufacturing company STMicroelectronics was the  top loser  of the leading stocks, with its share value losing 2.17 percent.(henri/pn)
